BJJ to Wrestling

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

BJJ is one of the world’s premiere fighting arts specializing in ground fighting with emphasis on positions control and submissions. Jiu Jitsu tends to rely upon proper leverage of techniques for success rather than brute strength. Whether you’re looking to compete, learn a new skill, or just looking for a different kind of workout, BJJ is considered both self defense, and a sport, making it ideal for men and women of all ages and skill levels, from beginner to black belt.


Our Youth Wrestling class teaches the basic grappling movements. This class includes takedowns and using the upper and lower body with exercises and drills designed to create the complete wrestler. Wrestling classes are strenuous and involve throws and being thrown. Wrestling is a physically demanding Martial Art. Training with Troop wrestling helps wrestlers to develop speed, flexibility, endurance and strength. Wrestling helps condition the body, build muscle mass, burn off fat in less time and keep it off.

Kickboxing (Muay Thai)

This class is a 90 minute Muay Thai class consisting of a dynamic warmup and functional fitness component, with focus on fundamentals and techniques through partner drilling and pad work. This high-energy workout challenges the beginner and elite athlete alike. Build stamina, improve coordination and flexibility, and burn calories as you build lean muscle with this fun and challenging workout.



10 & Under Wrestling

An introductory wrestling class for children ages 10 and under. With a focus on having fun and getting children active, our children wrestling program is a great Saturday morning activity to get children moving. Children will work on flexibility and safe movements as they progress through various beginner drills.

Youth Jiu-Jitsu

Our Youth BJJ program is suitable for children ages 4 and up. Troop provides a safe learning environment for children of all ages and abilities. Making the classes fun, children learn proper technique with a focus on respect for their teammates and opponents alike.

Youth Kickboxing

The Youth Kickboxing program has been professionally developed specifically for youth to teach them important life skills with an exciting, enriching and age appropriate curriculum that is always fun and suitable for ages 4 and up! This is a great class for gaining confidence, better fitness, coordination, speed and agility.
